Last summer, I had the opportunity to perform at a hotel resort in Saipan, a remote island east of the Philippines. I was invited by Zubrick Magic to perform their show, ‘The Magic of Saipan’, for a five week period. They have an amazing Las Vegas style show featuring state of the art illusions. After only six days of intense rehearsals, I launched into the 48 show run. Throughout the show I had the opportunity to make a helicopter appear, cut a dancer in half, float 15 feet in the air, escape from the Table of Death, and produce a live tiger on stage.

It wasn’t all work. Between shows I was able to explore and enjoy the many sights around the island, from white sand beaches and crystal clear waters to rugged cliffs and hidden caves. Saipan is a little known paradise… I can’t wait to return.
